Our Commitment
XVX Events is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all attendees, guests, vendors, staff, and volunteers. Everyone deserves to participate free from harassment, intimidation, or discrimination.
Expected Behavior

Treat others with respect and consideration.

Ask for consent before photos or physical contact.

Respect personal space and boundaries immediately.

Follow all staff instructions and event rules.
Unacceptable Behavior
Harassment will not be tolerated in any form, including:

Verbal abuse, threats, or offensive comments.

Discrimination of any kind * Unwelcome sexual attention or advances.

Stalking, intimidation, or unwanted following.
-
Deliberate misgendering or disrespect of identity.

Non-consensual photography or recording.
-
Touching people or costumes without permission.
-
Disruptive or aggressive behavior.
Cosplay Guidelines
Cosplay Is Not Consent. Wearing a costume does not mean permission for:

Touching (including props, wigs, or armor).

Photos or videos.
-
Sexual comments or roleplay Photography & Interaction.

Ask before taking photos.
-
Do not touch without permission.
-
Respect space, especially with large costumes.

Accept “no” immediately and respectfully. Quick examples include:

Ask before taking a photo—don’t take it anyway.
-
Don’t grab or move someone for a pose.
-
“In character” is not an excuse for harassment.
-
Do not interrupt cosplayers while they are resting or eating.

Reporting
If you experience or witness harassment:

Speak to any XVX staff member or volunteer.

Visit the Info Desk.

Contact event security. Reports will be handled promptly and as confidentially as possible.
Enforcement
XVX Events may take action including:

Warnings.
-
Removal from areas or activities.
-
Expulsion without refund.
-
Revocation of badges or vendor privileges.
-
Involvement of law enforcement.
No Retaliation
Retaliation against anyone who reports harassment or participates in an investigation is strictly prohibited.
