John Marks is a professional artist with over 30 years of experience in special events, costume design, and sculpting.

Over the past decade, John has focused on building larger-than-life, interactive props designed specifically for conventions and fan experiences. He is the creator behind nationally touring exhibits including Falkor & Friends, life-size rideable dragons, Battle Cat and Panthor from Masters of the Universe, Appa and Momo from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and other cinematic-scale builds that bring beloved worlds to life.

Known for blending craftsmanship with immersive design, John’s work allows fans of all ages to step directly into the stories they love through interactive, rideable photo experiences.
